1. Introduction

Welcome to I.M. Peoples’ Coat Company online platform. Our objective is to provide a secure experience, with reliable delivery, and excellent customer service.

We provide our services subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop @impeoples.com, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. You further agree the information you provide is accurate and correct. ​

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, and images is the property of I.M. Peoples  and is subject to and protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of I.M. Peoples, with copyright authorship for Vinter by I.M. Peoples.

2.1 Trade Mark, Design Registrations

I.M. Peoples’ trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not I.M. Peoples’, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers or in any manner that disparages or discredits I.M. Peoples. We have a registered design for the mitten pockets, the chest warmer, and the Vinter scarf, and are therefore subject to design registration laws. 

3. Orders and Processing

Product(s) ordered through impeoples.com will be shipped directly to you by I.M. Peoples Coat Company. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your products have been shipped, including a tracking number. Your credit card will be charged when the order merchandise has been dispatched. In other words, a contract of sale between us and you takes place when we send you an e-mail confirming that your order has been shipped.

Orders can also be placed by telephone by contacting Customer Service at (0047) 47 35 46 08.  The sale is complete when we send you conformation dispatch information by e-mail.

3.1 Privacy

I.M. Peoples respects your privacy. A main objective of I.M. Peoples is delivering and maintaining a safe and convenient online shopping experience. Accordingly, we do not share, sell, or rent, the information you provide to us to third parties online, or in any other capacity. We partnered with one of Norway’s most established and utilized checkout options, Klarna. We protect the integrity of our customer’s credit card information. 

3.2 Prices

Prices are calculated in Norwegian krone (NOK). Payments are processed in NOK with official daily currency rates. Due to changes in currency rates, the final price may be slightly higher or lower than the price on our online store.

3.3 Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For wholesale customers, we offer payment invoicing.

3.4 Extra Charges

Please note in some countries additional duties may be payable to your local tax authorities on receipt of your delivery. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. We are not responsible for any charges or other amounts which may be applied by your card issuer or bank or payment method provider as a result of processing your payment.

4. Shipment

In the event that an item is not in stock, I.M. Peoples will notify you by e-mail. It may take up to 30 business days to process and ship an orderEstimated delivery times will be calculated from the date on which the order is processed.  

4.1 Customs Delays

Please note there may be customs delays in your country. We have no control over these delays. Please contact your local customs office for further information. Please note we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. 

4.2 Shipment Methods

For fulfilling domestic shipments in Norway, we primarily partner with Bring. For international shipments, we also partner with Posten and UPS. Wholesale orders are shiped through TNT.

4.3 Correct Address

Orders will be sent to the delivery address that you have given on your order form. We cannot be held responsible if that delivery address is incorrect or incomplete. Please note that we do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

4.4 Shipment Costs

The customer is responsible for shipping costs.

5. Return Policy

A suitable return is an unused item in the condition that you received it. You may try it on, inspect the package, but if a return is necessary, please do not wear your Vinter products before returning it. To return your product, mail your product to our head office at Sørkedalsveien 3C, 0369 Oslo, Norway.

5.1 Condition of Return

Products purchased @ impeoples.com may be returned for a full refund within 60 business days of receipt. We sell only new products, and therefore cannot accept used items in return. Vinter products must be returned undamaged, with price tags intact, in the original (undamaged) packaging or in a similar sturdy package. Please include in the package proof of authorization of your payment in the form of a copy of the receipt, as well as a small discription as to the reason for your return. This information will only be used to improve our services.

5.2 Refunds

Once your return is received, we will send you an e-mail to notify you that we have received your returned item. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card, within 7 business days.

5.3 Full Refund

There are particular circumstances where a full refund will not be applied. This includes, (a) if the product shipped is subject to customs holding in your region; (b) if you give the address of a freight forwarding service; (c) if the product is damaged or decreased in value do to reckless handling or wear and tear; (d) if price tags are not intact.

5.4 Shipping Costs for Returns

I.M. Peoples carries the burden of shipping costs for returns.
